■	February 23, 2013 - Lyssy Beefmasters will have a certified ultrasound technician at the Ranch to scan cattle. Anyone interested in hauling cattle to the facility should contact Lawrence or George Lyssy if interested. This is a great opportunity to collect some carcass data if you have cattle that will be between 320 and 550 days of age on that date and you can get them to the ranch.

• January 5, 2013 - Live Oak BBA Bull Sale Bull sale was a great success to start of the year. Thank You Farm and Ranch Beefmasters for purchasing our Bulls.

• December 22, 2012 - Lyssy and Beefmasters hosted an excellent Field Day at the Ranch. o Seven different BBU breeders hauled cattle to the event for ultrasounding by Mr. Casey Worrell. Casey did a super job of educating the forty or so people present on the process and benefit of ultrasound technology at the purebred level.A very informative question and answer session followed lunch as the attendees fired questions to Perkins and Bates. Thank you to all to attended!

• November 17, 2012 - Collier Farms Performance Bull Sale, Brenham, Texas

• A Maverick son was the 4 place bull out of 94 head. Sold to Frenzel & Meacham Beefmasters of Temple, Texas

• October 2012 - Lyssy Beefmasters tops first ever Grow Safe System test in Navasota, Texas at Sexing Technologies. Lyssy's Had the most feed efficient bull -4.56 and the Highest Average Daily Gain Bull at 5.05 pounds a day. There were 9 Breeds and 94 head in this test.

• April 14, 2012 - Collier Farms Advantage Sale, Brenham, Texas
